As an annual Portland Pride tradition, a competition was held over the weekend for the title of Mr./Ms./Miss PDX Pride. Tons of people showed up to cheer on their favorite contestants and give support the cause. The pageant was produced by the talented Jersey Scities, dual emceed by Adrienne Alexander and Bolivia Carmichaels and held at Red Cap Garage. The event was insanely entertaining!! By the end of the night the pageant had raised over $2,000 for Camp Starlight which provides children whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS the opportunity to enjoy a caring, safe, recreational, spiritual, and fun camping experience. Camp Starlight is a program of Cascade AIDS Project.
