I just heard that the inner southeast club, Acme, that houses everyone’s favorite queer piratecore night, Booty, is changing hands. Having been in the high seas before I was worried for our dance party friend. But the word from Booty founder/DJ Puppet seems positive:
…tonight is that last night with the current staff, so we’re having a big blow out party. The new owners plan to keep us at least through the summer and things seem on the up and up. So, I’m not worried about any big changes in the near future. Thanks for checking in. Come play with us tonight if you can!
She’s not sure who of the current Acme staff may be staying in through the transition so if you’ve had your eye on a hottie bartender tonight the night’s to go. But the pirate ship is docked, at least all summer long.
