Mayor-Elect Sam Adams poses with guys fighting “gnome-ahomophobia.” Local gay publication Just Out did a great job of quickly recapping the H8 protest rally last Saturday November 15th. They also have lots of great shots of our diverse community coming together.
The Mercury offers a podcast of most of the speakers, in case you missed the anything coming from that megaphone that was difficult to hear, as well as a pretty adorable picture of mayor-elect Sam Adams posing with gnomes.
But I think my favorite has got to be this video clip below, courtesy Gay Oregon wherein Sam Adams, the first queer mayor of a major city, tells the audience he’s there to recruit. Fabu Sammy! I’m yours.
