Lavender Graduation is a celebration that recognizes LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) and straight-ally students of all backgrounds, and acknowledges their struggles, successes, and contributions to the university community. Part of this celebration involves the granting of “Pride Awards”
to recognize outstanding student achievement and contributions to the community.
