Portland’s dance, drag and other queer performances are most certainly building back up after a short lull, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for more. Are you a diamond in the rough? We want to know. That’s why Pants Off Productions is putting on an American Idol style Homo’s got Talent!
Always dreamed of lacing up those dancing shoes, hitting the stage, and bustin out some kick-ass choreography in front of an audience of adoring fans? Well, here’s your chance! Pants-Off Productions presents the Homo’s Got Talent Dance-Off Competition, Saturday, July 25th at the Egyptian Club. Compete to win prizes from Portland Center Stage, Open Hands Acupuncture, KO&Co, Diesel Femme Wear, Optic Nerve, SinnSavvy Productions, and MORE.
Requirements: Each piece must have a strong dance component. To enter the competition, send us your performance/troupe name, the name of the song & artist you will be dancing to, and contact info to queermcgay@gmail.com. Pants-Off Production strives to create anti-oppression space for our audience, performers and volunteers, and we ask that all participants adhere to this. Submissions will be accepted based on first-come first-serve until we fill the spots!
