I know all you shutterbugs are just dying to have the focus on your artwork or your sweetie in front of the camera. But perhaps even better are the weekend getaway prizes promised to the Grand Prize winners of the Just Out Amateur Photo Contest. I think it’s a pretty good way to celebrate Pride. I just love seeing all of you out in your finery. Certainly I get the most photo submissions over the annual Queer Holidays but I’d be pleased as punch to post any outlandish photo submissions all year long. I can’t promise a weekend getaway but a little bit of fame can go a long way.
And speaking of you and me and Pride…I’m there every year, but this year OregonLive is giving me a little more backing to do some fun and exciting stuff. Oh it’s still in the works of course but I hope to have a myriad of entertaining QPDX-related buffoonery and gadgets. And hey, if you have any brilliant ideas let me know. I might be able to make it happen.
