Another take on the disturbing brief that was issued by the US Department of Justice in support of DOMA. It compares same-sex marriage to ” marriages between cousins or an uncle and a niece” and that as a result, they do not have to be recognized.

The CREDO action network has also issued a petition, urging people to let the Obama administration know that they must stop supporting the DOMA. The DOMA is not just a fucked up piece of legislation in it’s own right, the Obama administration is also breaking a promise to it’s constituents by supporting it.
