Need a reason to cross the river into occasionally overwhelming First Thursday territory? How about Embodiment: A Portrait of Queer Life in America?
Seattle-based photographer Molly Landreth and a video artist Amelia Tovey, in town from Sydney, take over the Tribute Gallery (328 NW Broadway #117) to showcase their ongoing project showing the diversity of the queers of this great nation.
Also tonight a special deal. Prints will be available for purchase at the “ridiculously affordable price of $100” (reduced from $150 for this event only!) They’re 11X14? unframed pigment prints
The exhibit will be up until March 27th with a closing reception and artist’s talk Friday, March 26th. Then we can ask when we shall see our own Portland faces touring the nation.
