I, like many of my fellow queers, loved Morgan Spurlock’s McDonald’s exposé Supersize Me as well as his interesting FX show 30 Days, wherein folks with opposing viewpoints take a glimpse into each other’s lives. But this clever man has come under fire lately for his mishandling of a debate on gay parenting.
I, like many of my queer blogger/writer peers, understand that at times GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) can occasionally go overboard in their desire to combat offensive speech. I appreciate a nasty joke here and there. But Queerty, Dan Savage and most of the Q media have got glad’s back on this one. Though I haven’t yet seen the entire episode I watched the clip in question and am inclined to agree.
