The last show to be featured at the Mark Woolley Gallery beneath the Wonder Ballroom (128 NE Russell) will be a bent one.
The show will provide diverse artists an opportunity to explore the external and internal dimensions of the sexual labels G, L, B, T, Q, I, A, SGL, 2S and more (Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Trans, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Allies, Same Gender Loving, 2 Spirit).
Particularly intriguing for the queerions among us who are both artists and wordsmiths, you can actually submit to the project until this Saturday the 1st at 5:30 p.m. Please send images & an artist bio to mark@markwoolley.com or drop off a packet labeled “Alphabet Soup” at the gallery:

But the opening itself isn’t too far off either, so mark your gallery calendars for Saturday, March 8th at 5 p.m. And because the gays love a good dance party, opening night will forgo any staid crudités-serving museum atmosphere with a party featuring DJ Global Ruckus and others. Better yet, the closing celebration of art that is sure to be anything but stuffy features a second 5 p.m. to late dance party on Friday, March 21st.
