I recommend Crush if you’re in SE, their drinks are amazing and original. Mint/820 in NoPo should quench any swanky-pants night on the town desires or the much more mellow (and most authentically East Coast) Escape From New York. I haven’t tried the new Clyde Common downtown but it certainly sounds adventurous. My apologies for not knowing much about the restaurants in other cities but I’m sure queer-friendly must mean yummy food as well.
