Found in PDX: Oh caption my caption

Found on the corner of SE 15th and Main.

Firstly it’s important to admit that this is a blatant ripoff from The Portland Mercury’s Blogtown but how can I not share it with you? I don’t know who Steve is, but apparently he sent them this photo which he found at the corner of SE 15th and Main. It says a lot about P-Town. His interpretation is:

A soiled tissue, a half-eaten and squashed pomegranate, a pair of size 2 women’s panties, and a dog-eared copy of “Rubyfruit Jungle” by Rita Mae Brown. There are so many captions that could go with this photo, but I’m going to take the high road: Perhaps the lesbian coming-of-age novel genre has finally come of age?

However, I think it is so much more. So let’s have a photo caption contest shall we? Prizes consist of my laughter and respect…maybe your picture in the blog…
