Oh Byron you drama queen…Oh it can be sexy watching those scrappy gays duke it out in public. Oh yes, politics, journalism and the internet can be sexy. Really, I’ve put a lot into that belief considering what I do for a living.
But that’s really the only pleasure I can take from the continued catfights between Willamette Week’s Byron Beck and the rest of Portland’s queer population (except for Sam Adams). Alas, while both sides raise important points I think the whole thing has been blown out of proportion and made the whole sitch just a tad melodramatic for my taste. Not that I’m above giving you my opinion from a post earlier this week. At this point I just look forward to The Merc’s jumping into the fray with a satirical Jesus blog Rogue or whatever it is they do over there…
