The queer party where the player (apparently) always wins is back at the Homoscene (1002 SE Morrison), and this Saturday and luckily this week is does not stand opposite the popular Rotture Sluts and Squares night. (Of course, it’s going head to head with PDX Pop Now! which is all ages and free, but then again, PPN is bound to be booze free and crowded).
Besides the usual close quarters of dance floor this months DD also features DJs from that gay capitol to the South San Francisco. Hot Pants, a terribly popular Cali night for the gay ladies has graciously agreed to lend Portland a couple of its spinners. DJ Campbell and Chelsea Star will out putting on the beats full force to bring the west coast into perfect, foot-stomping harmony.
So bust out the gold lamé and give that toosh something to shake for. It’s time to see what kind of mash we can make with Hot Pants and Double Down.
