Murray Hill hosted the event
Yep, that’s right. The first Mr. Transman contest took place in Brooklyn on Sunday, April 25th. If the video is any evidence, people had a great time! Murray Hill was emceed it, and Kastrophe was there! Original Plumbing also seems to have been involved.
I’m excited to see none of the silliness that goes along with regular “pageants” go along with it – everyone seems to have kept their sense of humour. When will we see Ms. Transwoman? How would we label a genderqueer pageant?
