Somehow the British make trash TV that you aren’t ashamed to admit watching.
‘Bad Girls’, whose third season premieres tonight on Logo, a soapy drama about a UK women’s jail that is absolutely dripping with lesbian cliché, still manages to feel like it has some real dramatic substance to go along with its prurient prison watching.
It may not.
Truthfully, I’ve only seen a few episodes here and there from the first 2 seasons, because Logo never keeps anything onDemand for long enough (oh, but I’m sure you’ve heard enough of my complaints about Logo…). Fortunately, a new service that allows you to watch TV from your computer, Joost, is “airing” the first 2 seasons. So you can catch up. Unfortunately, even though I’ve had the service since it was in Beta, neither of my home computers can run it, and I ain’t trying to be watching this at work man…Foiled again! I guess I’ll just have to go out and enjoy the world…which reminds me, Booty is tonight with an all-female DJ set. Who’s going with me?
