Ruining clean-cut gay America with my incessant liberal rants

Bravo Jeff Gannon, for your insightful column. I love how this guy uses the word antiwar in quotes. I love how he calls queer bloggers who dare express an opinion unlike his abusers of technology and media outlets. No matter, of course, that he will, himself, use the clout of a publication to plug his own conservative, self-loathing agenda. By calling into question a government that most certainly does not have the best interests of its gay and lesbian citizens at heart, bloggers like me are, apparently, not only being irresponsible, but ignoring the viewpoint of Americas gay people in general. If gay people (in general) are plagued with internalized homophobia and materialistic conservative longing, I have no wish to reflect or be a part of that.

This guys also all over the place. He condemns gay media for not paying more attention to particularly heinous international news such as the hanging of 2 youths in Iran (despite the fact that there have been protests in London, San Francisco, Dublin, Paris and Montpelier) while downplaying Abu Ghraib as well as anything that happens on our own soil. Believe me, we all know how many battles we have to fight.

A fellow blogger takes what seems like a low blow, calling Gannon a hooker that will sell anything for anything, but the post brings up several good points. However, I have great respect for sex industry workers, some of whom have nothing but the highest morals, and whom I have seen organize and work in activist communities the hardest. So I wouldnt want to denigrate their work by comparing them to this man, for whom I have very little respect.
